What hackers do these days- They are at our fingertips

The ongoing 31(c3) [Chaos Communication Congress] has some shocking improvements on
the extend of hacking esp. concerning politicians and high
security individuals who use biometric access for security.
The German hacker Jam “Starbug” Krissler ,a member of CCC ( Chaos Computer Club)
has shown a presentation on how he was able to clone the fingerprint
of the German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyer –the raw material
being a long shot image of the minister’s  hand! With the help of a  software
named VeriFinger he was able to produce positive fingerprints that can even
trick Apples’ Touch ID Sensor. This means that fingerprint analysis isn’t the
way of the future as vein analysis and
 gait analysis of individuals are
used in some countries to tackle such future complications.
